What is NECMAS?
NECMAS is a web-based management system built for Zimbabwe's National Employment Councils. It covers labour dispute case management, conciliation, arbitration, employer and employee registers, levy billing and payments, inspections, labour enquiries, training and management reports.
Who is NECMAS for?
National Employment Councils and their staff: designated agents, arbitrators, inspectors, finance and management. Employers use the self-service portal to view statements, pay levies online and follow up on their matters.
Can employers pay levies online?
Yes. NECMAS bills levies from your council's rates, sends invoices and statements, and integrates with Paynow so employers can pay online. Payments are recorded against the employer automatically.
Does NECMAS support USD and ZiG?
Yes. Levies, payments, settlements and awards can be recorded in USD or ZiG, using the exchange rates your council sets.
Do we need to install anything?
No. NECMAS runs in any modern web browser, so head office and district offices use the same system.
How is our data kept safe?
Each council has its own system and records. Access is role-based, every change is recorded in an audit trail, and data is backed up every night.
